I'm relatively new to the online dating scene, but working it on my own has turned up horrible results, so here we go! :)

I'm a vegan hippie idealist. I tend to wax existential. My ideal place to live would be in a treehouse.

I don't eat strictly vegan. Who can? Balance is important.

I'm a writer when I'm not teaching at the preschool. I have written two children's books. I do the illustrations myself; I'm also an artist. I love kids. Teaching children can be very inspirational. I love to see what happens when you show a child respect and then show them the possibilities. It's too bad there isn't more money in it.

I am a genuine woman. I am here because I have a true respect for transgendered and transsexual people. I have dressed as a man before. If someone ever mistakes me for a man, it doesn't bother me. To me, this does not constitute a mistake. It feels right to be taken for a man every once in a while. I also really love playing dress up. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love stage makeup and wigs and costumes and all that fun stuff. I wish it were more acceptable to dress up like that all the time. This is one of the reasons I love being in the bay area. Let me know if you need any tips on makeup or putting together an outfit.

I am also religious. I am Orthodox Christian, and I go to church every week. At least I try to. I have talked to my priest about what it feels like to wear men's clothing. His response was that it is an unnecessary behavior. My response to that was that it wasn't an overt behavior. I was just putting clothes on the same way anyone else would get up and put clothes on. Lately, I have been wearing mostly skirts and women's clothing because I just had a baby. But, I digress. I am a hardcore Christian, but I'm not overt about it. I would never try to convert somebody, but I would happy to share it with you if you want to share it with me or just know more about it.

I am not afraid of change. Change is good. Change is necessary. Everybody needs their boat to be rocked at least once in their lives. How else are we to learn? How else are we to find the truth?

My picture is a photo that was taken at a New Years dinner dance on the U.S.S. Hornet. I help teach the dance classes when they have a big event. Can you dance? Would you let me teach you if you don't?

I love to sing. Do you sing? Do you play an instrument? It would be fun to do something together.

I am analytical. I over-think things. This tends to manifest itself into a situation where if you ask me about something I have already thought it through and know what I want. This doesn't mean I don't want to compromise.

I'm a good cook, but not if it's a thankless job. I don't like cleaning, but I'm good at keeping things clean.

My ideal partner has plenty of money so I can stay home with the baby (our children?? - I would be open to adopting children with you if that's what you're thinking). My ideal partner loves to sit down and have an intelligent conversation with me/us. My ideal partner is Orthodox Christian, or would at least be open to coming to church with me. I would love it if you are confident about yourself, but you don't flaunt your ego. I would love it if you were fascinated by me, and you fascinate me, too. My ideal partner is well read and enjoys museums. My ideal partner has a horse I could ride.
